Technical Implementation
More details to come. The project is ongoing (August 2025). So far, technical choices are:
- RAK3172 module based on STM32WLE5 with custom hardware
- Custom PCB for the sensor designed on Altium
- Custom casing for the sensor designed on Fusion 360
- LoRaWAN communication
- Zephyr RTOS for the sensor firmware
- Chirpstack Server for network management
- TimescaleDB for data storage
